This year Glenn was sick so we just went to two of our friends next door and that was it. Poor Carter wanted to do more but I know i couldn't leave Glenn to long. I gave Carter the option of woody or a fisherman, can you guess which one he picked. He is so like his daddy in so many ways. Love them both so much :)
Durning the preisthood session Amy Carter and I went to gardner village and had so much fun looking at shops. I ran into an old friend Jenn Spencer it was so nice to see her. Carter saw the ponies on the way in and I told him if he was good that I would let him ride one. Well I thought that he did so well at the fair ok let him ride one. Well they didnt have any straps to hold the kids on so i was kinda scared about it but he was doing ok untill the horse kept moving his head around and knocked carter right off the hourse. I was soooo scared by the time i got to him his shoe was off so i know the pony stepped on his foot, i looked at it and nothing was wrong. However the last couple of weeks all i have heard is " mom I fell off the pony " I really dont think i'm ever going to live that one down. LOL Other then that we had a fun night :)
We were able to go to Cali again this year. It was so much fun. We stayed a night in Vegas and then went to Cali the next day. It made the trip seem a lot more relaxed that way. Carter loved meeting all the characters but his fav was Woody he loves that guy. His face when he saw him was priceless. I would have to say his fav ride was Nemo. However he loved to ride the carousel, we had to ride it like 5 or so times he had to ride the horse. LoL. Funny kid. We were able to visit the beach twice so that was nice to. If i could live there i would. I love the beach. Oh speeking of beach carter had to chase the birds into the water. I have it on video so funny. I dont know why but he loves chasing them. Our trip home was a long trip. We had a tire blow out, another tire expand. Lets just say we left Mon 8am and didnt get back untill tus at 5 am. It was fun and worth the headache we loved every min of it. Here is some fun photos.
In August we were able to go to Lagoon with Glenn's brother Gary and his family. It was a lot of fun. Glenn and I didn't think that Carter would love it as much as he did. He was sooooo excited to get on every ride he could. Carter hated waiting in lines. Here are some fun pictures of the day.
I was put into young womens a little while ago as advisor to the beehives.They had girls camp a couple of weeks ago. I was so lucky to go but also to have my little family come up as well. They had called to ask if Glenn would go up so they would have some presthood holders. It was really fun to have him there. The girls loved Carter, and he loved the girls. I went back up a couple of nights later and they were asking about Carter and Glenn and where they were. Thanks for the fun girls :)
After i had this misscarry i have been thinking alot about things. Well these past couple of months havent been as stressfull. I noticed that my pants were starting to hang off me. I had a check up the other day come to find out i have lost 20 lbs i couldnt believe it. I was so excited the nurse started to laugh at me. I am very determind to keep it off too. A peice of good news i guess..:)
We went to Strawberry Res. this weekend and cought a lot of fish. Here are some that we cought.It was really hot!! But on the other hand it was nice and relaxing too!!
Carter is growing up. Trying to talk and getting more teeth. He is a typical boy( into everything and if there is dirt he is in it). I love my boys to death. Glenn is still going to school and working hard to keep me home. I'm a stay at home mom and love it.
